LAHORE, FEB 17 (DNA) – Women members of Punjab Assembly called on Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to discuss upcoming Senate elections and other matters of mutual interest.
During the meeting, public welfare projects, empowerment of women and solving issues face by them were discussed. On the occasion, Usman Buzdar said that he is not a supporter of one man show and that is why women lawmakers are always consulted.
The chief minister reiterated that government will give female lawmakers their rights as women empowerment is mission of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He also said that masses have buried the negative politics of elements that hindered the development of the country.
