ATTOCK, Nov 21 (DNA): 06 gamblers were booked besides recovering bet money, Mobile Phones from their possession and arrested during raids at their gambling dens in Fateh Jang Police attock on Thursday.
Spokesman of police informed that in a crackdown against the anti social elements, a few persons are engaged in gambling in an open place near Mithu Khan Dam, on which the Fateh Jang police immediately formed a raiding party and raided the spot and arrested 6 gamblers identified as Muhammad Shaukat, Muhammad Akram, Muhammad llyas, Amir Mehmood, Taqueer and Maqsood Hussain.
Police registered and registered a case against all of them under gambling act.
District Police Officer (DPO) Sardar Ghiyas Gul Khan appreciated the performance of the attock police team. He said that strict action must be taken against Anti social elements. Adding that no one would be allowed to carry illegal activity.
