KARACHI, Apr 15 (DNA): Pakistani market Saturday witnessed a big
decrease in gold prices as the yellow metal lost its shine in the global
market.
According to the All Sindh Jewellers Association, the price of one tola
of 24-Karat gold saw a decrease of Rs2600 and was being traded for
Rs216,000.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-Karat gold decreased by Rs2229
and was available for Rs185185. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold
was settled at Rs169757.
The gold prices in the international market also saw a huge decrease as
an ounce of gold saw a decrease of $31 in its value and was being traded
for $2003.
On the other hand, the price of silver remained stable in Pakistani
markets.
The price of one tola of 24-karat silver remained Rs2570 and 10 grams of
24-karat silver remained Rs2203.36.
