ATTOCK: Minorities Day was observed at Gurdwara Panja sahib Hassanabdal organised by Sikh community. Sardar Ravinder Singh Jaggi Divisional vice president minorities wing PPP welcomed the distinguished guests . Managing director Pakistan Baitul Maal ceremony Amir Fida Paracha was the chief Guest while Jibran Masih Gill presided over the ceremony. Free eye camp and dispensary was also inaugurated on the occasion.
Tree plantation was also done by the chief Guest. Speaking to the audience Amir Fida Paracha highlighted the role of minorities in national development and praised their services for betterment of society.
Others who spoke were District President Sardar Asher Hayat khan, Ticket holder PP 2 Sardar Zufiqar Hayat khan, Paul Gill and santok Singh. Saropas were presented to the guests. Cake cutting ceremony was also held. People from different religions participated with great enthusiasm.
