Lahore, JUN 16: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz chaired a special meeting regarding Eid al-Adha security to review arrangements and security during the Eid-ul-Azha holidays.

Punjab chief minister was briefed about security measures for 2,066 mosques and 900 Eidgahs across the province.

Under section 144, illegal activities will also be prohibited.

Punjab chief executive ordered to activate control rooms at provincial, divisional, district, and tehsil levels.

She also ordered to inspect parks’ swings to ensure safety regulations during the Eid holidays.

Maryam Nawaz directed authorities to protect people’s lives and belongings during the Eid ul Azha vacations. Punjab CM gave orders to ban the illegal use of loudspeakers and display of weapons amid Eid holidays.

Installing fans and mist fans has been ordered due to the extreme heat in the Eidgahs.
