PML-N-led govt to complete five years’ term: Sher Gorchani

RAJANPUR, Jul 24 (DNA):Provincial Minister for Mines and Minerals, Sher Ali Gorchani said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)- led government would complete its five-year constitutional term.
Talking to media persons here Wednesday, he said there are few elements who want to derail democracy, economic development, prosperity and thus seeking to sabotage law and order situation of the country.
They wanted to meet the nefarious task by disseminating disinformation about the government, he said.
He said Pakistan entered into avenue of prosperity under leadership of Mohammed Nawaz Sharif which was unprecedented in comparison to past.
He termed Punjab gained exemplary status among the four provinces through guidance of first-ever woman chief minister, Mariam Nawaz.
“Development and prosperity of South Punjab was mission of incumbent government to which it would never back down, he added.
He said they are determined to bring sub-divisions of Rajanpur like Jampur Fazilpur and eastern mozas at par with upper Punjab with regard to development and prosperity.
He said they would get approved status of tehsils for Jampur, Mohammadpur Dewan and Dajal as per the promise.
The minister informed that the projects worth Rs. 30 million were approved only for development in Jampur.
Diverting to problems of common men in his constituency, he assured to meet people of the constituency, PP- 293 a day in a week.
He said the nation gave PML-N the mandate for five-year rule, adding that any propaganda against the ruling coalition by a opposition would be counterproductive.
Referring to May 9 riots, Sher Ali Gaur Jaani made clear that the accused involved in the ferocious drive would not be tolerated.
He said that the vision, transparency and good governance of Punjab Chief Minister has been felicitated in and abroad even.
He said revolutionary measures were adopted in fields of education, youth empowerment, women development and information technology across the province by the provincial authority.
He said recruitment of 3000 nurses with 30000 teachers was approved as first-hand strategy to overcome unemployment here.
He said building of Muranj Dam was approved in Rajanpur in order to protect the district from flash flood appeared in water channels of Koh-e-Suleiman almost every summer adding he said it would not only help to create hydro- electricity on the spot but would irrigate thousands of acre barren lands in the district through the reserved water within the dam.
Moreover, he said a model hospital was approved for the district as the poor people have to rush far-flung districts for treatment of critical diseases even.
