RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) warmly welcomed H.E. Emin Cohodarevic, the Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina, during his visit to the Chamber. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral trade and investment ties between Pakistan and Bosnia & Herzegovina, with discussions covering key sectors such as tourism, metals, mining, energy, food processing, textiles, and agricultural machinery.
Ambassador Cohodarevic highlighted the immense cultural and historical heritage of Bosnia & Herzegovina and pointed out the great potential for collaboration in various fields. He underscored that both nations can significantly benefit from each other’s strengths, emphasizing the importance of reactivating the Joint Economic Commission (JEC) to enhance trade and investment between the two countries.
“There is vast potential for Pakistan and Bosnia & Herzegovina to collaborate in numerous sectors. Reactivating the Joint Economic Commission will be a crucial step in boosting our bilateral trade relations and expanding cooperation,” said Ambassador Cohodarevic.
In response, RCCI President expressed appreciation for the Ambassador’s visit and reaffirmed the Chamber’s full commitment to supporting initiatives that promote closer business ties. He assured all-out efforts to facilitate networking, information exchange, and enhanced chamber-to-chamber relations between Pakistan and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
“We are dedicated to building stronger ties between our two nations, and the RCCI is ready to assist in expanding business connections, creating networking opportunities, and sharing valuable market information,” said the RCCI President.
The meeting was also attended by Senior Vice President Khalid Farooq Qazi, Vice President Fahad Barlas, executive committee members, and prominent traders.
