RAWALPINDI, OCT 25: Pakistan finished their first innings at 344 runs in 96.4 overs against England, establishing a 77-run lead on the second day of the third Test of England’s tour of Pakistan.
Pakistan’s strong response was led by Saud Shakeel, who contributed a resilient 134 off 223 balls before falling to Gus Atkinson. Sajid Khan added a quick 48 off 48 balls, hitting four sixes and two boundaries.
Rehan Ahmed claimed four wickets for England, while Atkinson provided crucial support with two dismissals.
The highlight of the innings included Shakeel’s disciplined knock, steadying Pakistan from a precarious 46-3 early on. England now prepares to respond in the remaining session, aiming to level the lead.
