ISLAMABAD, Jan 17 (APP/DNA):Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Talal Chaudhry on Friday called upon the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) to continue participating in the ongoing talks, saying the party should not back away as it was well-acquainted with the case.
Speaking with the private news channel he noted that the PTI had already demonstrated confidence in the judges and courts on two separate occasions.
Senator Talal stated that it is abundantly clear that the PTI chairman and his wife will not be able to evade the ongoing case. Notably, the PTI leadership has repeatedly asserted that any potential punishment will not hinder the negotiation process.
Senator Talal Chaudhry observed that the perception of a potential National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO)-style deal for the opposition has all but evaporated in the wake of the 190 million pound case decision.
