ISLAMABAD, 21 FEB -The price of gold in Pakistan came down massively on Friday, reflecting global market trends. In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by a major Rs2,000, settling at the highest ever Rs307,000, according to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,714, taking it to Rs263,203.
In the international market also, the price of gold saw a drop of $23 on Friday, reaching $2,930 per ounce with an additional premium of $20.
The price of 24-karat silver in the local market also plunged by a major Rs38, reaching Rs3,430 per tola.
