ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reached PIMS Hospital and inquired after the Islamabad Police and Azad Kashmir Police personnel injured in Azad Kashmir. He individually met each injured police personnel and inquired about their well-being. He instructed the hospital administration to ensure the best medical care for the injured police personnel.
Interior Minister lauded their courage and spirit, saying: “All of you fulfilled your duties with great bravery, strength, and commitment. Despite mischief and violence, you acted with restraint. You are the brave sons of Pakistan, and we are all proud of you.”
Mohsin Naqvi further directed the Chief Commissioner and IG Islamabad to take special care of the Azad Kashmir Police personnel. He also encouraged the injured policemen.
Interior Minister reiterated: “Peaceful protest is everyone’s right, but taking the law into one’s own hands will never be allowed.”
He stated that few miscreants, on the enemy’s instigation, are attempting to disrupt peace and order in Azad Kashmir, but their malicious aims will never succeed. He emphasized that The hearts of Pakistanis beat with their Kashmiri brothers, and the Government is alway ready to resolve their issues.
The Chief Commissioner Islamabad, IG Islamabad Police, and other officials were also present on the occasion.
It is worth mentioning that 31 Islamabad Police personnel and 12 Azad Kashmir Police personnel are under treatment at PIMS Hospital.
