Bilal Bin Saqib appointed PVARA chairman after PM's approval

ISLAMABAD: Bilal Bin Saqib has been appointed as the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA) chairman following the prime minister’s approval.

According to details surfaced on Wednesday, Saqib’s new portfolio will be equal to the status of the minister of the state. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to appoint Bilal Bin Saqib as the PVARA chairman, while accepting his resignation as the crypto council CEO.

Bilal Bin Saqib has been granted the three-year post with the minister of state rank.

It is pertinent to note that prior to this, Bilal bin Saqib was working as the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency.
