Iranian Ambassador extends  warm Ramadan greetings

Islamabad, February 19, 2026 — On the auspicious occasion of the arrival of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, has issued a heartfelt message of congratulations and spiritual reflection to Muslims worldwide, with special emphasis on the government and people of Pakistan.In his message, the Ambassador began with the Quranic verse from Surah Al-Baqarah

He extended sincere congratulations to all Muslim brothers and sisters globally and particularly to the brotherly nation of Pakistan, describing Ramadan as a divine opportunity for spiritual reflection, self-purification, compassion, and solidarity. The month, he noted, serves as a profound reminder of core Islamic values: patience, generosity, and unwavering devotion to Almighty Allah.

Highlighting the unbreakable bonds of the Muslim Ummah, Ambassador Moghadam emphasized unity through shared faith in One Unique God, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the Holy Quran, and the sacred Qibla. “These sacred pillars bind us together like an unbreakable thread of faith and brotherhood,” he stated. “The Holy Month of Ramadan is a manifestation of these shared bonds and a powerful symbol of our unity.”

The Ambassador prayed for the honor, dignity, unity, and integrity of the entire Muslim world, while specifically invoking peace, prosperity, and stability for Pakistan. “May Allah Almighty accept our prayers and fasting, and grant us His endless mercy and blessings,” he concluded.

Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam has served as Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan since July 2023. A holder of a PhD in International Relations, he previously held key positions, including Deputy of the Supreme National Security Council in Foreign and International Policy affairs. His tenure has focused on strengthening bilateral ties between Iran and Pakistan in areas such as trade, energy cooperation, border management, and regional stability. —
