Pakistan welcomes Turkish investment in IT, mining, energy

ISLAMABAD, JUL 4 – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated that Pakistan and Turkey have always stood by each other, emphasizing that the bond of trust between the leadership and the peoples of both countries is a valuable asset.

Addressing the Turkey-Pakistan Business Conference, Dar noted that the dynamics of economic cooperation have evolved in light of the changing global landscape. He stressed that expanding economic partnerships in response to shifting international circumstances is the need of the hour, adding that economics has become a critical component of modern diplomacy.

He reaffirmed the commitment to removing obstacles in order to boost trade and investment between the two nations. “Providing a business-friendly environment is our priority,” he said, adding that Pakistan would welcome investment in various sectors, including information technology, mining, and energy.

“The world is changing, new alliances are forming, and trade agreements are being made. Pakistan and Turkey must move forward together for a brighter future of their peoples,” Dar concluded.
