PIO hails sacrifices that made Pakistan’s freedom possible

ISLAMABAD, Aug 14 (DNA/APP):Principal Information Officer Raisa Adil, in her message on Independence Day, extended heartfelt greetings to the nation and paid tribute to the martyrs and elders whose sacrifices laid the foundation for Pakistan’s freedom, security and sovereignty.

She said Independence Day was a reminder of the immense sacrifices made by the founders of Pakistan, martyrs and generations of elders who struggled for the country’s creation and security.

“Today, we salute all those martyrs and elders who sacrificed their lives for this country and its security. It is because of their sacrifices that we are living as free citizens in Pakistan,” she said.

Raisa Adil said Pakistan was steadily strengthening its position and identity in the international community and emerging with renewed confidence and optimism.

She said the country had played a constructive role in promoting regional and global peace through diplomatic engagement and efforts to prevent escalation of conflicts.

“Pakistan is the fulfilment of a dream, and that journey continues. Pakistan has a bright future ahead. InshaAllah, Pakistan will always remain strong and prosperous,” she said.
