ISLAMABAD, JUN 01 (DNA) – The US dollar has reached Rs154.50 after a jump of 10 paisas against the Pakistani rupee at the opening time of inter-bank trading on Tuesday.
Economist Asad Rizvi said, “Inter-bank market initially was expecting a strong rupee opening, but I will wait to see if the tone is sustainable or not. Real Effective Exchange Rate (REER) has surpassed a crucial benchmark base of 100 & new is 103.2982, which does not support PKR. Prefer for more clues.”
At the start of the inter-bank trading, the US dollar lost 35 paisas at Rs154.05 but later reached 154.40 per Pakistani rupee, as per forex traders of Karachi. = DNA
