ISLAMABAD, ): Afghanistan has become a stronghold of
international terrorist organizations as from Afghanistan, 23 terrorist
organizations spread terrorism in around 53 countries, including the US,
China and Pakistan.

According to Asia Pacific Forum (APF) and UN reports Pakistan is one of
the top targets of terrorism from Afghanistan as 17 out of 23 terrorist
organizations target only Pakistan.

Tehreek-e-Talban Pakistan (TTP), Jamaat-ul-Ahrar and Baloch terrorist
organizations are leading among the organizations spreading terrorism
from Afghanistan to Pakistan.

From Afghanistan, al-Qaeda targets Europe and America, Tehreek-e-Islami
Turkmenistan targets China, IMU targets Uzbekistan, Jundullah spreads
terrorism in Iran, ISIS in Europe and America, while Hizb-ut-Tahrir and
Jamaat-ul-Ahrar spread terrorism in Pakistan.

There is no doubt that Afghanistan is regularly providing financial
support to terrorist organizations in the region. The TTP and Afghan
support played a central role in the rising tide of terrorism in
Pakistan last year.

The TTP, which was almost wiped out by Operation Zarb-e-Azb and
Radd-ul-Fasaad, has been revived after the Afghan Taliban took over.
“From 2015 to 2020, thanks to the operations of the Pakistan Army, the
attacks of the TTP have continuously decreased.”

American weapons left in Afghanistan were also used in the recent
terrorist incidents in Pakistan. All the suicide bombers in Pakistan in
the last two years were also Afghans.

The recent report of the United Nations has also revealed the increasing
instability in the region under the Afghan Taliban.

“After the Afghan Taliban took power, the security situation in the
region has become very complicated and uncertain.”

According to the US Representative for Peace Program “TTP is active in
Afghanistan to train terrorists and raise funds for them”.
