ISLAMABAD, JUN 3: Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, attended the inaugural session of the 114th International Labour Conference (ILC) in Geneva on Wednesday.
The Conference brings together representatives of governments, employers, and workers from across the globe to deliberate on key labour and employment issues and to advance the shared agenda of promoting decent work opportunities for all.

On the sidelines of the Conference, Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Tariq Alhamad.
During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, including labour mobility, workforce development, and strengthening bilateral cooperation in the human resource sector.
The discussions underscored the importance of enhancing collaboration to create greater employment opportunities and improve workforce skills for the benefit of both countries.
The Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deepening its partnership with Saudi Arabia and exploring new avenues of cooperation in the fields of labour, employment, and human resource development.
