SARGODHA, Jul 13 (DNA):Commissioner Sargodha Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti presided over a meeting of the divisional working party and approved two schemes for highways and four development schemes for local government, here on Saturday.
Development schemes of local government included Sheraz Park in Block A, restoration of sewerage lines, construction of roads and laying of tuff-tiles in New Satellite Town area, restoration of sewerage lines at Chak No. 57-NB and repair of 4.5-km lengthy road via 55-NB to 57-NB.
The commissioner approved development schemes for highways including Bhera, Shiekhpur Road construction, repair of road from Gujrat Road to 57-NB areas.
Deputy Commissioner Aurangzeb Khan, Director Development Bilal Hassan, XEN highways, XEN local government, Deputy Director Technical Rana Shahid Imran were present in the meeting while DCs of other districts of the division including Bhakkar, Khusab and Mianwali participated in the meeting through video-link.
