Ayub Bukhari tells Islamabad POST that indoor marriage ceremonies had been banned and marriage halls were not allowed to do this practice to avert the spread of corona virus danger

FAISALABAD: Under the direction of Punjab Government, the corona SPOs are being strictly implemented to avoid the threat of this harmful disease because Faisalabad is in second position with regards to corona virus cases, said Assistant Commissioner City Ayub Bukhari while talking to Islamabad Post.
He said that the drastic steps had been taken to check the smart lockdown measures as imposed by government to save the lives of people. He informed that traders organisations were fully agreed to close the markets at 6.00pm,however strict legal action was being taken in case of any violation including the sealing of business establishment, imposing heavy fines and getting the cases registered against the violators.
He said that indoor marriage ceremonies had been banned and marriage halls were not allowed to do this practice to avert the spread of corona virus danger. He maintained that a number of marriage halls had been sealed in the current week for not following the corona SOPs.
Bukhari added that vigorous campaign was underway against the land grabbers and encroachments and the beauty of city would be restored by removing the all kinds of temporary and permanent encroachments for which serious steps had been taken by following the directions of Apex Supreme Court.
He gave the details of district administration measures being made to control the profiteering of essential commodities. He informed that 16 special price control magistrates were performing duties to check the prices in the markets and profiteers were being dealt with iron hand for providing relief to the common people.
He vowed that best service would be provided to the citizens by taking the all stake holders in boards and all out efforts would be mobilised for the development of the city.
