LASBELA, AUG 25: Tragedy struck on the Makran Coastal Highway as a bus carrying pilgrims from Iran to Punjab plunged into a ditch, resulting in the deaths of eight people and injuries to more than 32 others.
According to police reports, the bus was en route to Punjab when the accident occurred.
The pilgrims involved in the crash are reported to be from the Lahore and Gujranwala areas of Punjab. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident, while rescue operations continue at the scene.
