PESHAWAR.. A convoy of goods trucks for the first time reached in Parachanar headquarter of Kurram tribsm District bordering with Afghanistan on Wedneday. Advisor to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Barrister Saif through a statement while confirming supplies if edible and other items of daily needs said 40 trucks entrtrd Kurram which included 10 trucks for Bagan people smd 30 for Parachanar and its surrounding areas from Upper Kurram. All these 40 trucks were part if thise 80 trucks depaeted from Kohat on Saturday but stranded at Thall Kohat due to furing incident against DC kurram. So far officials said nothing about retaining 40 trucks but tribesmen at Sada said that drivers fearing threats to their lives retired to Peshawar and other places. Senior journalists Ali Afzal at Parachanar and Muhammad Jamil at Sada confirmed arrival of goods trucks into Kurram. All these trucks have been escorted by security forces both on roads and air space through helicopters. The supplies made on the day when tribesmen ar Manfoori near Sada were on protest against arrests of three leading tribesmen. Since mid of previous October there is tension in all over Kurram where lands/property disputes turning into sectarian tussles.
