LAHORE, MARCH 07 (DNA) : Defending champions and the most consistent team in terms of winning ratio of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Quetta Gladiators will look to revive their lost form against the lower-ranked Lahore Qalandars at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Gladiators have lost three matches consecutively in PSL 5 after a great start, winning three out of four matches.

Qalandars after so many expectations have once again disappointed their fans by losing four out of five matches played and are on the last of the points table too. However, they will be happy to face Gladiators as their only win came against them on March 3rd.

Qalandars, a few days back lost badly to Islamabad United by 71 runs whereas Gladiators lost to Peshawar Zalmi by 30 runs in Rawalpindi.

Qalandars, in order to remain in the contention of qualifying for the knock-outs, have to win all their remaining matches but it seems impossible, viewing their current form.

Gladiators, on the other hand, can still qualify and defend their title. They have heavily dented by the bad bowling display in losses and also got a setback as young pacer, Naseem Shah is out of the competition for at least one week due to ankle strain.

They will also be hoping that their overseas pro, Shane Watson will fire as he was the main performer last year with the bat. Ahmed Shehzad, after so many failures also have to step as they can not depend every time on the late middle-order of captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, Ben Cutting, and Mohammad Nawaz.

Mohammad Hasnain, the lone warrior for Quetta and the highest wicket-taker of the tournament until now will also be looking for support from his other bowling partners.

It must be noted that the players featuring in the match will don pink caps. They will be accompanied by young girls, wearing pink caps, to their fielding positions. In addition to this, match officials and commentators will also wear pink ribbons. The match will start at 7 pm.
