Gold price rises sharply in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, AUG 6: Old prices in Pakistan surged further on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, as the rate of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs1,500, reaching Rs359,300, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The 10-gram price of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs1,114, settling at Rs308,041. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of 22-karat gold reached Rs282,381 after a gain of Rs1,022.

On the global front, international gold prices climbed by $13, hitting $3366 per ounce, indicating a bullish trend in global bullion markets.

Silver prices also climb

Silver prices followed suit with notable gains. The price of 24-karat silver per tola increased by Rs39, reaching Rs4,010, while 10 grams of silver was priced at Rs3,437 after a Rs33 hike.

International silver also saw a gain of $0.39, bringing the rate to $37.77 per ounce.
