Inspector General Islamabad Police, Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, has been relieved of his duties, effective immediately. Stepping into this role is Nasir Rizvi, a seasoned Grade 20 officer within the police group, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise to uphold the safety and security of the capital.

Moreover, to streamline administrative affairs and bolster coordination, Captain® Khurram Aga, a distinguished Grade 22 officer of the DMG group, has been appointed as the new Interior Secretary.
