ISLAMABAD, JAN 30 (DNA) — For the first time, an international marathon race has been held on Trail 5 in Islamabad on Sunday in which President of Pakistan Arif Alvi also participated to encourage healthy sports.
A large number of men and women participated in the marathon race. A good number of diplomats also participated in the 42 km long marathon race. marathon race participants said that such a healthy event has reduced diseases and improved health.
They said they were happy that the administration was organizing such an event. The women also expressed their happiness to be a part of this race. At the end of the race, prizes were also distributed to the successful racers. =DNA
