Israeli hostages handed over to Red Cross after Gaza truce: Israeli media

GAZA, NOV 24: Twelve Thai hostages released; Israel continues attacks on Gazans despite ceasefire; aid begins entering strip. The Israeli hostages held in Gaza have been transferred to Red Cross and are on their way to the border crossing with Egypt, Israeli TV stations reported.

An Israeli official said that the released hostages are in ambulances moving towards the Rafah crossing into Israel, Times of Israel reported.

The release of 13 hostages, mother and children, is the first of four expected stages.

Tel Aviv is set to release 150 Palestinian prisoners, all of them women and minors, in return for the 50 Israelis. It will free 39 today in return for the first 13 Israelis to return.
