JKT’s new party IPP to contest elections on symbol of Eagle


LAHORE, JUN 25 (DNA) — The newly established political party, the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) of Jahangir Khan Tareen (JKT) comprising mostly former electable politicians of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has finalised the symbol of Eagle for the upcoming general elections.

The IPP of Jahangir Khan Tareen has finalized registering its party in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to participate in the next general elections. The party sources said the IPP has also finalized to apply for the symbol of the Eagle as the party’s election symbol.

The sources said Jahangir Khan Tareen has not yet submitted an application for registration of his party, IPP to the ECP. The sources said the party manifesto, details of the intra-party election and list of party office bearers are compulsory to submit in the ECP for registering any party. — DNA
