‘No letter written to EU nor plan to’: PTI rejects info minister’s statements

ISLAMABAD, MAR 13: ‘No letter written to EU nor plan to’: PTI rejects info minister’s statements. Attaullah Tarar earlier today alleged that the PTI was seeking revocation of Pakistan’s GSP+ status.

The PTI has rejected Information Minister Attaullah Tarar’s statements about it writing a letter to the European Union seeking withdrawal of Pakistan’s GSP+ status.

In a statement on X, the party said, “Neither has the PTI written any letter to the European Union nor is there any plan to.”

It dismissed Tarar’s statements as “nothing but a combination of lies, rhetoric, accusations and nonsense”. “As a result of the ministries they got in return for their obedience, the visitors of Jati Umra have started a new series of lies and rhetoric after losing their senses,” the party said.

The PTI criticised ex-foreign minister Ishaq Dar for a “delay in the completion of the IMF programme”.
