ISLAMABAD, MAY 10: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with his UAE counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to discuss the recent ceasefire understanding between Pakistan and India.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the development and expressed hope that it would contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region.
During the call, Ishaq Dar appreciated the UAE’s diplomatic efforts for promoting peace and stability in South Asia. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peaceful coexistence and regional cooperation.
