ISLAMABAD, SEP 28 (DNA) — Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani said infrastructure will be built in Pakistan only when investors invest in the country.
Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani while addressing the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected officials of Parliamentary Reporter Association (PRA) said the media was free and it should do its work freely.
“We should see what message we are giving to the world about Pakistan,” he said. The Senate chairman said they should highlight the positive face of Pakistan in front of the world and Pakistan was a beautiful country which has everything.
“Infrastructure in Pakistan can be built only when investors come”, Chairman Senate focused on the promotion of tourism in Pakistan. Sadiq Sanjrani further said the media could play a positive role in the development of Pakistan and the democracy of Pakistan was better than the democracy of many countries in the world.
Problems arise in the parliament when non-member journalists come. PRA should make regulations for coverage of the Parliament.
