Pakistani rupee trails behind currencies of Afghanistan

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Siraj ul Haq asserted on Saturday that the Pakistani rupee was “trailing behind” currencies such as the Afghan Afghani, Bangladeshi Taka, and Sri Lankan Rupee.

Addressing the women’s workers’ convention in Bahawalpur, Haq took a swipe at the political opponents, saying, “The political parties who ruled the country for the past 76 years had done to impose an Islamic political system in the country.”

Haq blamed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for ballooning inflation and unemployment.

“Will the people of the country be the slaves of these two families [PML-N, PPP]?” he questioned.

Denouncing the rule of the “dynastic rulers,” Haq accused the PML-N and PPP of “involvement” in corruption.

JI Emir Siraj ul Haq said on Saturday that the Pakistani rupee even drubbed at the hands of the Afghani, Bangladeshi Taka, and Sri Lankan rupee.

– Sirajul Haq foresees ‘revolution’ on Feb 8 –

Haq on Thursday hoped that the country will witness a “revolution” on February 8.

Expressing his thoughts in Lahore, Haq bemoaned the political landscape. “The country did not gain independence to witness the staging of “dynastic” politics. The huddle in which the relatives sit together is known as the parliamentary meeting in the country’s political scenario.”

He underscored the importance of uplifting the Islamic political system in the country. “The purpose of gaining independence was to impose the Islamic system on the country,” he said.

Haq urged the masses to cast votes for his party in a bid to see the uplifting of the Islamic political system in the country.
