ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Palestine Ahmed Rabei visited Allama Iqbal Open University, and was honored and pleased to meet with Professor Dr. Zia ul-Qayyum, Vice Chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University

and Prof, Dr. Mohy ul Din Hashmi,  chairman Department of Islamic Thought, History and Culture,

And Dr. Sami Ullah Zubairi, in charge department of Arabic.

The meeting focused on education and study was held in this very important university which contains of one and a half million students, as well as discussed cooperation in teaching the Arabic language to Pakistani students, studying in higher education institutions in the two countries.

Cultural and educational exchange in a way that strengthens the bilateral relationship between the two brotherly countries was also discussed.

The ambassador of State of Palestine felt proud of this visit, which allowed him to learn about the high level of university education, success and progress that the university has reached.

All participants of the meeting agreed upon the collaboration between Allama Iqbal Open University, Qudas open university and the universities of Palestine in several disciplines like Arabic, Islamic studies, physics، food and nutrition and computer science.
