PESHAWAR, MAY 25 (DNA) – The tax collection authorities have sealed the regional office of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) in Peshawar over non-payment of property tax worth Rs11.8 million. The PIA office located in the Cantonment area did not pay property tax despite repeated notices.
The TV channel reported that despite multiple notices the national airline office in Peshawar, the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, did not pay any heed to the notices sent by the property tax collection authorities.
Earlier, the PIA informed about its increased domestic reach to boost tourism within the country and tweeted, “With increased flight operations to Skardu, a beautiful sight of two simultaneous flights operating, arriving flight from Karachi and departing flight for Islamabad.” = DNA
