PTI spokesperson assails re-arrest of Sanam Javed in another false case

Urges CJP to take instant notice of non-compliance of courts’ orders
Says detained leaders, workers being subjected to suppression for affiliation with PTI

ISLAMABAD, /DNA/ – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson strongly decried the re-arrest of PTI activist Sanam Javed in another politically motivated case after being released on the court order in false and fabricated cases, demanding the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take instant notice of the continued violation of the courts’ orders by the police.
PTI spokesperson said that the series of re-arrests of PTI workers after being released on bails by the courts put a question mark on the credibility of the country’s judicial system.
He stated that Sanam Javed was arrested for the second time without any justification despite getting bail from the court in both absurd and baseless.
PTI Spokesperson lamented that innocent mothers, sisters, daughters, imprisoned in jails for the last five months, were being subjected to worst oppression and fascism for their sole crime of affiliation with PTI.
He stated that Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Senator Ejaz Chaudhary, Mian Mehmood-ul-Rashid, Umar Sarfaraz Cheema and Aliya Hamza and other PTI leaders and workers incarcerated in false and fabricated cases were the constant victims of the state oppression and suppression.
PTI spokesperson urged that the Chief Justice of Pakistan should take immediate notice of the ongoing coercive measures and retributions against PTI workers, especially women, and ensure protection of their basic constitutional rights.
He demanded that contempt of court action should be taken against the police personnel involved in illegal activities by continuously violating the court orders.
