PUCAR highlights Indian atrocities through calendars

Rawalpindi, DNA: Punjab Council of the Arts arranged a Calendars Exhibition to highlight Indian atrocities on innocent people of Kashmir here on Thursday. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mushaal Hussein Mullick, Chairperson Peace and Culture and wife of Hurriat leader Yasin Malik flanked by Naheed Manzoor and Director Arts Council Waqar Ahmed.

The calendars were designed by the students of Graphic Designing class of this Council which were based on Indian atrocities.  Nore than 50 calendars were prepared with photographs of current situation in Indian held Kashmir with slogans of right to self-determination. Mushaal Mullick addressing at the inaugural ceremony appreciated the Council to generate new idea to show up horrifying situation in Indian held Kashmir.

She said that Kashmiri leadership including Yasin Malik are being tortured. She also appealed international community to raise their voice giants violation of human rights in Kashmir. Students include Ali, Hina Janjua, Komal Naseer, Aleeza Sarwar, Kaneez Zahra, Affan Khalid, Muhammad Haris, Sana Nazir, Fahad Masood, Maria Abbas, Muhammad Usman, Abid Nawaz, Hafiz Irfan, Ayesha Rasheed, Mahrukh Imtiaz and Irum oarticipated in calendars exhibition.

Naheed Manzoor said that people of Pakistan were with the people of Kashmir till their right to self-determination. Director Arts Council Waqar Ahmed also said that these calendars would also be sent to different embassies to draw their attention towards Kashmir. The exhibition will continue till Saturday.
