KABUL: Leg-spinner Rashid Khan to spearhead strong Afghanistan squad for the forthcoming tri-nation series, slated to begin from August 29 in the United Arab Emirates.
According to details, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced a 17-member squad for the upcoming trilateral series in the Gulf country.
Afghanistan have included a mix of veteran playe
rs and fringe players. The former captain, Mohammad Nabi would look to add extra value to the side.
Apart from time, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran have proved their mettle as the formidable opening pair for their country in the past three years.
Moreover, the spin-heavy Afghanistan will look to put the opponents to the test in both the tri-nation series and Asia Cup 2025.
