RCCI Standing Committee of Plastic Shoes Manufacturers expresses concerns over the increase in electricity bills, MDI charges

A meeting of the standing committee of plastic shoe manufacturers was held at the  Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).
The meeting was presided over by the acting president Muhammad Hamza Sarosh and the chairman of the committee Muhammad Akram. Group leader Sohail Altaf, Vice President Faisal Shehzad, Vice Chairman Mubasher Abbas, former presidents, members of the executive committee and other distinguished members were also present on this occasion.
In the meeting, concern was expressed over the increase in electricity bills, MDI charges, due to the increase in bills and MDI charges, the business cost has increased many times, it has become difficult to do business.
During the meeting, important issues faced by the plastic shoe manufacturing industry, high cost due to high electricity bills, increase in MDI charges and suggestions regarding relocation of cottage industry (shoe makers) along the ring road were shared. .
Furthermore, former President Asad Mushadi was nominated to survey the land around the Rawalpindi Ring Road for the establishment of an industrial estate and relocation of Rawalpindi’s SMEs along with various markets and industries.
