Security forces, TTP men clash in Tirrah valley

PESHAWAR, MAY 27: Militants associated with banned Tehrik Taliban Pakistan attacked the security forces check post in most sensitive Tirrah valley of tribal district Khyber bordering with Afghanistan in early hours of Monday.

Confirmed reports reveal that five personnel killed and six other injured whereas four militants were also killed.

Local authorities in official correspondence have confirmed the attack and clashes as well in Dara Adam Khel village started on Monday at around 4.00 a.m.

Clashes continued for around half an hour. Officials said that first the dead bodies of killed personnel and injured shifted to security forces camp at Bagh and later airlifted to Peshawar.
