RAWALPINDI, Oct 27 (DNA): Chairman of Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rasheed
Friday filed a petition to withdraw the review of the Faizabad sit-in
verdict.
Sheikh Rasheed filed a petition in the Supreme Court which said that he
was named in the Faizabad sit-in case verdict even though he had nothing
to do with Tehreek-e-Labbaik.
He also did not participate in the sit-in. He claimed that the court did
not give any decision against him.
It was stated that the Advocate-on-record could not reach Sheikh Rasheed
and thus, no information of the case could be conveyed to him. The
application is being filed relying upon the contents of the review
petition in light of the decision.
