Shocking details surface in woman’s mysterious death in Bahawalpur Millat Express

The mysterious death of a woman from the moving Bahawalpur Mulat Express has taken a new turn as the brother of the deceased claimed her sister Maryam went from Karachi to Jaranwala by train for Eid and she was allegedly tortured to death.

The brother of the deceased Maryam said on April 8, ASI Naseem called him and informed him about the death of his sister. “As soon as I got the information about the incident, I reached the spot, I was informed that my sister had fallen from the train. After the funeral and burial, the video went viral, then the real incident came to know.”

“There were marks of violence on my sister’s body. Our claim is against the policeman seen in the video,” he maintained.

“The policeman took the sister off the train and killed her,” Maryam’s brother alleged.

He vowed to follow the case fully and contact the higher authorities.

Who was Maryam?

The deceased woman was a resident of Qayyumabad, Karachi C-Area. The incident of the woman’s death took place on April 8.

Pakistan Railways stance

Pakistan Railways spokesperson Babar Ali Raza has said that the person who raised his hand on the woman will not be released.

He said according to the statements so far, the woman jumped herself from the moving train.

Talking to a private television, Babar Ali Raza said that the accused is still on bail.

According to the initial statement, a railways spokesman said that Railways Police personnel had taken the woman to another coach while statements of children and passengers are also being recorded.
