KARACHI, JUN 23: /DNA/ – Syed Aman Shah, The Provincial Convener of Awaam Pakistan Party Balochistan has expressed deep concern over the growing tension between Israel and Iran in the Middle East, stating that this conflict has become a major threat to global peace and stability. He emphasized that a country like Pakistan, situated in such a sensitive region, must act with great caution, wisdom, and in line with its national interests.

He stated that the recent attacks and counter-attacks between Israel and Iran will not remain limited to these two countries but will have repercussions across the region and the entire world. In such a situation, Pakistan must base its foreign policy on complete neutrality, national sovereignty, and a commitment to peace.

Syed Aman Shah further said that Pakistan must not allow any global or regional power to dictate its foreign policy, as joining international blocs in the past has already cost Pakistan heavily. He stressed that Pakistan needs to play a serious, effective, and balanced diplomatic role, particularly by intensifying efforts to mediate among Islamic countries.

He said that Iran is our brotherly Islamic country, and Israel’s aggressive attitude is causing unease among Muslims in the region. However, Pakistan must act with wisdom and prudence instead of emotions, so that it can not only safeguard its national interests but also maintain its image as a responsible, peaceful, and dignified state on the global stage.

Syed Aman Shah, The Provincial Convener of Awaam Pakistan Party Balochistan urged the government to formulate a comprehensive national foreign policy by taking Parliament into confidence, giving top priority to national security, economic stability, regional harmony, and diplomatic balance.

He also called upon the international community, particularly the United Nations and the OIC, to play an effective role in de-escalating the Israel-Iran tensions immediately to save the region from a major war. He stated that the people of Pakistan are advocates of peace, not war, and this message must be conveyed to the global powers as a matter of urgent necessity.
