RAWALPINDI, JUL 30 /DNA/ – The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) has organized an awareness session on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) at Chamber House. Acting President of RCCI, Mr. Muhammad Hamza Sarosh, along with Group Leader Mr. Sohail Altaf, extended a warm welcome to the participants and appreciated them for taking time out of their commitments to attend this important session. The session featured Mr. Sajeed Aslam, Partner at ESG & Technology Spectr Eco, as the keynote speaker on special invitation of EC member Asad Aftab

The event was attended by Vice President Mr. Faisal Shahzad, Former Presidents, executive committee members, and distinguished members.

Other notable attendees included Ms. Sonia Jahangir Seth, Business Embalming Environment (REE) Lead at USAID, Mian Muhammad Ateeq, and Mr. Adnan Shafqat, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Climate Change. The event saw a large number of attendees.

Mr. Sajeed Aslam delivered an insightful presentation on ESG, highlighting its significance in today’s business environment. He emphasized the importance of integrating ESG principles into corporate strategies to ensure sustainable growth and responsible governance. Mr. Aslam also appreciated the efforts of RCCI and expressed optimism for future collaborations.
