TEHRAN, OCT 1: Iran launched massive missile attack on Israel. IDF claims missiles launched from Iran into Israel. The Israeli military claimed Iran fired rockets at the country with all the civilians inside the bomb shelters.
The military’s claim come after a White House official United States has indications that Iran is preparing to imminently launch a ballistic missile attack against Israel. Iran has fired hundreds of missiles at Israel. According to media reports Iran fired hundreds of ballistic missiles towards the Israeli Capital Tel Aviv.
Israeli troops had invaded Lebanon, in what the Israeli military calls a “limited, localised and targeted” ground operation against Hezbollah.
Sirens are sounding across Israel. The military says
direct military attack from Iran against Israel will ‘carry severe consequences for Iran,’ a senior White House official said.
Former Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar said Israel had been violating the human rights unabated. Even the United Nations allowed Israel to commit all these human rights violations. She added, the Iran attack seems to be a lost resort as Iran was left with no other choice.
Pakistan foreign office sources said they were viewing the situation closely and response shall be issued accordingly. The officials however opined that the tension should not be escalated any further for it may have negative effects on the regional stability as well.
US President Joe Biden said Washington is prepared to help Israel defend itself from the missile attacks launched by Iran and to protect the US military in the region.
“We discussed how the United States is prepared to help Israel defend against these attacks, and protect American personnel in the region,” Biden said on X about a meeting held with Vice President Kamala Harris and the White House national security team earlier in the day.
