LORDS, AUG 6: A fox disrupted play during a match between London Spirit and Oval Invincibles at Lord’s, briefly halting the game. More than 26,000 spectators watched the unexpected interruption during The Hundred competition. The Invincibles have clinched a thumping victory over the Spirit with Afghanistan spin wizard Rashid Khan shone with the ball, scooping up three wickets and grabbing three catches.
Opting to bat first, the Spirit were faltered on 80, with no batters, other than Wayne Madsen, Ashton Turner and Ryan Higgins could reached the double figures.
Keaton Jennings, David Warner, Kane Williamson, John Simpson, Liam Dawson, Luke Wood, Richard Gleeson could not show significant resistance with the bat. Daniel Worrall remained unbeaten on 7-ball 3.
For Invincibles, Rashid Khan and Sam Curran took three wickets apiece. Jordan Clark has picked up two wickets.
Jason Behrendorff (1-17), Nathan Sowter (1-10) took a scalp each. The Invicibles have completed the equation inside the 14th over, with six wickets in hands.
