ABBOTTABAD, Nov 16 (APP/DNA):Former Federal Minister and Provincial General Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Member of the National Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary for Defence Raja Usama Ashfaq Sarwar, and Punjab MPA Bilal Yamin Satti inaugurated the Ghora Gali to Lowera Road on Sunday.
Local residents expressed gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif, and the party leadership for prioritizing regional development.
Speaking at the event, Murtaza Javed Abbasi said that despite losing the previous election, PML-N continues to support the area with substantial development funding. He noted that billions of rupees are being invested in local infrastructure through the efforts of party leadership.
Abbasi praised Raja Usama Ashfaq Sarwar as the “living legacy” of the late Raja Ashfaq Sarwar and urged residents to uphold PML-N’s political commitment. He added that Murree is on course to become one of the world’s leading tourist destinations, creating employment and economic opportunities for local residents.
He said development schemes worth 360 million rupees have been approved for link roads connecting the region, crediting Punjab Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Raja Usama Sarwar, Bilal Yamin Satti, and others for their cooperation. Abbasi expressed confidence that more projects would follow, contributing to long-term regional progress.
