ISLAMABAD: Responding to media queries regarding recent reports on developments in the ongoing regional conflict, the Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Tahir Andrabi, stated:“We have taken note of several media reports, including on social media platforms, that cite so-called ‘official government sources’ concerning the ongoing conflict in the region and Pakistan’s efforts to promote peace and dialogue.

We categorically reject these false and misleading insinuations attributed to purported official sources. Such claims are entirely baseless and a product of imagination. Any attribution to official Pakistani sources in this context is completely incorrect and unfounded.

It is particularly concerning that the official briefing held on Friday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been misrepresented, with references made to issues that were neither discussed nor even alluded to during the session.

At this time of heightened regional sensitivity, responsible diplomacy demands discretion, accuracy, and restraint. We therefore strongly urge all media organizations and platforms to exercise due diligence, refrain from speculation, and rely solely on officially issued statements and media readouts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for accurate information.”
