RAWALPINDI, 06 APR (DNA) — Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif conducted a virtual tour of different sections of Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research. She inspected the main entrance hall, radiology, mammography suite, and CT scan room; besides radiology therapy, treatment planning room, simulator, and seminar room.
She also inspected state-of-the-art setting room and AHU (Air Handling Unit) room for patients, and set a target for its early completion, and directed the relevant authorities to carry out construction work in three shifts for the purpose.
Chief Minister Punjab was briefed by the responsible authorities that 219 posts were advertised for NSICTR, 32 candidates have been selected, while approval has been granted to advertise next week 415 posts of NSICTR. She directed them to appoint best professionals for the posts of Dean, Director, and other vacancies at the hospital.— DNA
