GWADAR: The Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar, along with his two colleagues and driver, went missing on Wednesday evening during a road blockade by unidentified armed men in Balochistan’s Mastung district. Authorities fear that all four have been kidnapped.
According to police, the Vice Chancellor of Gwadar University, Dr. Abdul Razaq Sabir, along with Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, Personal Staff Officer and Lecturer Dr. Muhammad Irshad and driver Adam, were travelling from Gwadar to Quetta in a car, but contact was lost before they reached Quetta.
Mastung District Police Chief SP Allah Bakhsh told that ‘the family contacted the administration and police after 10 pm, after which the incident came to light.’
