ISLAMABAD: The eighth meeting of the Apex Committee of the Special Investment Facilitation Council was held in Islamabad.
The Chief of Army Staff, Federal Cabinet, Provincial Chief Ministers and high-level government officials participated in the meeting chaired by Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar.
Various Federal Ministries briefed the meeting regarding progress on projects in key sectors and timely completion of expected investments.
The Army Chief assured the unwavering commitment of the Pakistan Army to support the government’s initiatives for economic recovery of the country.
Finally, the Prime Minister directed all the stakeholders to vigorously pursue the various initiatives of SIFC to ensure their completion within the stipulated period.
